About This Content The F-5E Tiger II is an improved version of the original F-5 Freedom Fighter that entered service with the US Military in the early 1960s. It is a lightweight, supersonic fighter-bomber with great agility and load-carrying capability.More than 1,400 examples of this type were built between 1972 and 1987, and the type has seen widespread service in the Air Forces of many nations, some of which still operate today. Additionally, the US Navy still operates the type as an aggressor fighter at its Naval Fighter Weapons Schools. The FSX: Steam Edition version of the F-5E is beautifully and authentically modelled, perfect for soaring through the virtual skies at supersonic speeds. Six variants include different true-to-life weapon systems, custom effects and animations. Use the F-5E to re-enact your favourite Cold War moments or tour the many Naval airfields included in FSX: Steam Edition.FeaturesSix versions, including the Strike, 4x Mk.83; Strike, 2x GBU12 Paveway; Long range; Post mission; Aggressor; and ExportAuthentic virtual cockpit with animations and clickable controlsDetailed and authentic weapons loadoutsAuthentic, fully clickable 2D panel, hi-res glazed-effect gauges, custom pop-ups for ECU, autopilot, warning panel and radiosDetailed checklist and accurate flight modelCustom effects for turbine glow (three-stage), smoke (start-up & in-flight), wingtip and flap contrails, and wing surface vapour 'flash'High quality sound setRealistic pilot figureAnimated canopy, tailhook, and spoilers a09c17d780 Title: FSX: Steam Edition - Northrop F-5E Tiger II Add-OnGenre: SimulationDeveloper:VirtaviaPublisher:Dovetail Games - FlightRelease Date: 26 Jan, 2016 FSX: Steam Edition - Northrop F-5E Tiger II Add-On Activation Key Crack Kinda hard to fly if you're not into controlling a speeding missile with wings attatched to it. Has very, very poor brakes. The speedbrakes does nothing unless in the air (where it also hardly works), needs a few miles to bleed off speed before any attempt to land. It's a good looking aircraft, with a hell of a sound. For some wierd reason i like it, even with it's downsides. That said, it's totally possible to take-off and land this sucker safely, it's just up to the pilots experience level and ability to controll it.. This is a great aircraft to pratice your skills with before you use bigger faster jet-fighters(F-16). The Northrop T-38 Talon trainer aircraft, which were directly based on the F-5's, is the aircraft the United States Air Force train there pilots with. It doesn't come with much toggle switches but it is fun to fly and personally it is one of my favorites.. Very hard to take off in this aircraft. It is veering off the runway to the right and slamming into the terminal. I have to set my trim wheel to the left and fight the aircraft until rotation, whereupon it goes into a severe left bank until I set the trim wheel again.Very unstable in flight. A lot of trimming required. Very disappointed in the performance since it's such a nice aircraft otherwise.. Its better than the default aircraft but is certanly not PMDG,quality wings or Carendo quality. It has a nice amount of features like vapour flashes but not things like windshield wipers, weapons and ground services. The F-5E is a nice military aircraft and this add-on has several liveries and weapon variants.Ive never flown one in real life so i cant judge on realistic the handling is,i have only flew Piper PA28 warriors (G-BUIF)(G-BRJV).. I like it. I just dont like how it stalls out after pulling up. also, can you extend the refueling probe on the Export Version?. killed my flight simulator. :-(. I like it. I just dont like how it stalls out after pulling up. also, can you extend the refueling probe on the Export Version?. Perhaps one of my favorite combat aircraft i have installed. It handles very nice but be careful when manuvering above 300knts.. Bought it on sale for $6, not worth what it is now ($12). It handles really nice and is NOT hard to take off or land like how some other people said. And the interior is pretty bad. Worth $6 not $12.
